Bury Challenge Walks is thrilled to be able to announce that in 2012 the Challenge Walks will be held on the same day as St Edmunds Wheel Cycle Rides – June 10th will see West Suffolk awash with people on and off wheels, exploring the lovely summer countryside!
The Challenge Walks will still raise money for forces charities but by working with the St Edmunds Wheel Trust, (a registered charity number 1101763) we can collect the Gift Aid on all registration donations and sponsorship money. This will help us raise more money!

The 2012 event will held on June 10th.
The 26 mile/42K and 15 mile/25K routes have been reversed, and slightly altered, for 2012 to avoid the centre of this very busy market town. Runners, setting off after the walkers are also welcomed this year, but please bear in mind that the route directions are on paper!
New for 2012, the 6 mile/10K route will be a guided walk, led by a local Blue Badge Guide. Participants will explore the lovely medieval grid and discover many nooks and crannies, whilst listening to fascinationg local stories of the town.
Entrant Awards
Every entrant will received a certificate, and a well deserved sense of achievement!
A Challenge Cup will be awarded to the individual raising the most sponsorship

Certificates will be presented on the day of the event, the cups will be presented in November at a special presentation ceremony, together with the monies to the charities concerned.
